ITEA
In 1998, Rossetti associated with some researchers to bring to life a machinery able to produce energy using waste. He began to invest in R&D, developing and implementing the first prototype and associating with ANSALDO CALDAIE in Gioia del Colle, where was situated the largest European plant for the research on combustion. Here ITEA produced the first plant for the production of energy from waste or coal without the release of pollutants into the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the complicated Italian bureaucracy slowed down the project: it took two years to obtain the permit to perform the first test. Even after the funding and the support of major companies such as ENI (company engaged in the sales of oil and natural gas) and ENEL (the electricity and gas multinational), the company failed to obtain the permission to introduce the innovation into the Italian market.
